Milton acquired Sandown Industrial Estate in 2013 from an institutional investor. The property provides 12 warehouse / business units totalling approximately 60,000 sq. ft.
At purchase the property was in a poor condition following a number of tenants vacating at the same time leaving 7 units empty. Milton obtained planning permission to widen the user clause and allow for occupation of more than one unit. At the same time the team carried out a comprehensive refurbishment including new roofs, roadways and a rebranding of the common parts. Prior to completion of the refurbishment Milton let 6 of the 7 units with the final unit being let within 3 months of completion.
The property was sold in 2017.
